White Madeira #1
It cannot be understated how amazing this fig truly is. Considered the top Adriatic fig. It isn’t the typical, and simple, raspberry/strawberry jam. Other than the initial berry, you will get hints of citrus, tart cherry, and maple syrup. This fig was introduced by Tam in Maryland who noticed some very old trees figs in the yard of a Greek gentleman who shared them with him. The older gentleman relayed that the tree was gifted to him by a friend from Madeira, Portugal a long time before. Parthenocarpic.
