From my source:  I found it growing in a clump of wild seedlings near Santa Claus Lane outside of Santa Barbara on Christmas Eve several years ago when I was going to the beach with my family. It’s an excellent variety that is common and has shown great split resistance so far. It’s one of my favorites. Similar in appearance to Black Madeira but easily distinguishable when shown side by side but the quality is just as excellent.  My best common fig find.  Parthenocarpic.
