A highly sought after fig for its beautifully striped skin that starts the season out looking very much like a Panache fig and then changes to a veritable rainbow of red, yellow, and purple stripes until fully ripening and settling to a deep purple with very subtle or completely hidden stripes. Ripens a very small amount of breba figs followed by a late season and prolific crop. Martinenca Rimada has a much thinner skin than Panache and a richly flavored flesh colored a deep raspberry red. Has an Old World fig flavor with cinnamon spice notes and a rich berry reduction. Parthenocarpic.
