The original tree was grown in Kassiopi on the island of Corfu in Greece.  The individual who released this fig has stated that it is "the best Adriatic fig he's ever tasted" describing it as complex strawberry, beautiful balanced sweetness, pleasant seed crunch, and great skin chew.  Upon taking it to a fig festival, many concur.  He further remarks that it is a productive variety that does not split, dries on the tree without dropping, and best of all is a full 3 weeks ahead of his other adriatic trees.
