LSU Tiger could be considered as best eating quality of any fig variety to come out of the LSU breeding program along with LSU Scott's Black. The skin is its best quality. Not only does it shed rain like its parent, Celeste, but it also has a sweet and chewy skin that cannot be seen in any other fig variety.
