According to seller, this one grows unprotected in Buffalo NY and is extremely cold hardy.  Small red fig, berry sweet, rather early, and seems to dry right on the tree.  She doesn't know much more about it other than this suspecting it to be a Mt. Aetna type, quite hardy and productive. As far as taste its very much a berry fig and has some tartness to it also.  Parthenocarpic.
