Joualle Noire is a fig that originally comes from France. It was discovered in the Algerian mountains, where several types of Joualle figs are grown and protected.  They have long necks and black skin. The skin usually has a starry pattern of white dots, and the pulp is dense with a complex flavor.  Many rave about this one. Parthenocarpic.
