Discovered in Wine Country, Northern California. It earned its name because the fully ripened fruit boasts a distinct, tart cherry flavor profile reminiscent of a cherry Jolly Rancher candy.  It is common, but some have stated that figs may drop in the first year or two until well established.  Even so, it is so worth the wait!  This is a spare rooted cutting.  My tree is the same size.  Parthenocarpic.
