An outstanding Spanish variety and a crowd favorite. It is an especially dark skinned fig with beautiful deep red flesh and amazing flavor, consistently rated as one of the best tasting dark figs. Galicia Negra can sometimes be shy to bear in the first few years but then becomes a very productive tree. Produces a small breba crop and an abundant main crop that ripens mid season. Parthenocarpic.
