De La Roca

$0.00Price

De La Roca is a Spanish variety fig whose looks make it a bit of a chameleon. The skin of this fig can range anywhere from yellow to purple, but usually falls somewhere in the middle with a greenish/purple cast.  The skin can sometimes have a crackled appearance, but almost always presents the signature pattern of small dots.  They are pretty figs, rounded or tear dropped shaped, with little to no neck and is resistant to rain with little to no splitting.  The fruit is very soft and has a fairly strong berry flavor and sweetness.  Some have even described it as flowery.  This variety originated from famed fig grower, Montserrat Pons.  Parthenocarpic.
