Cherry Cordial

This fig variety was discovered growing in Santa Barbra, California, and is said to have Ficus Palmata genetics aka Punjab Fig or Wild Himalayan fig. It could be a hybrid. The figs have a sweet berry flavor with a distinctive tanginess or tartness to them. Descriptions of taste include raspberry and cherry. This fig variety is also extremely vigorous and fast growing. Parthenocarpic.
