One description from an expert:  It has an incredibly dense dark blackberry flavor with a streak of sour cherry that makes for such an enjoyable escape from the Etnas and other berry varieties which are defined by a more subtle berry flavor that is often chased in sweetness.  Black Tuscan's skin is thin and delicious and the flesh has a thick tingling stickiness that evolves from dense berry and jammy condensed syrup. This fig is a complex.  Many experts describe it as very similar to Black Madeira.
